Anjna K. leads the academic team at SmartX as Tutor Coordinator and Lead Tutor, bringing over twenty years of outstanding educational experience. Having served for 14 years as a Senior Leader, including as a Deputy Headteacher and whole-school leader of Mathematics, Anjna has guided hundreds of students to stellar academic heights, historically boosting GCSE pass rates by 15% for her school and driving exceptional progress for students of all backgrounds. What truly sets Anjna apart is her warm, parent-first perspective. As a local resident and mother of a child approaching secondary school, she deeply understands the exact journey, hopes and anxieties of the families she serves. Backed by a Master’s degree in Teaching and Learning with a focus on higher ability students, extensive expertise in adaptive teaching, and a strong background in inclusion including chairing a local authority Inclusion Panel, she holds a deep, compassionate understanding of SEND and how different children learn. Twice recognised with Gold Awards for leading school mental health initiatives, Anjna ensures that at SmartX, academic achievement always goes hand in hand with student wellbeing.

As a qualified teacher with more than 21 years in the classroom, Anjna also leads SmartX’s small-group A-Level Maths and A-Level Economics sessions, where a handful of students work through exam-board topics together at a pace set by the group.
